Synaptic Defect is the solo effort of Marc Tater (music production / vocals) and can look back on the release two full-
length albums in 2004 ("Mechanical Oppression" - BLC Productions) and in 2008 ("World-Wide Life & Death" - Advoxya Records).
After a longer than 10 year-hiatus, Synaptic Defect has switched-on the machinery in mid of 2020 again to start a comeback.

While these are good remixes, they are ironically stripped down to usual EBM trappings. It lacks a LOT of wild experimentation with arrangements, bombastic use of high dynamic range capabilities and Mariana trench's deep use of sequencers which made Front 242 a Sistine Chapel of the genre. Nevertheless, it's an enjoyable EBM Fix ►For You◀ I do appreciate visceral energy on certain songs which added another layer to the originals. Now i wait for FLA's Caustic Grip/TNI tribute like a guard dog.

A highly melodic and emotional dark electro album that will haunt you. Pyrroline’s music has always had an intrinsic sadness, but the melancholy on 'Struggling' surpasses anything Arnte and Schmoun have done so far. I fell in love with it right away.
